![]() When applied to the dark spots on my cheekbone, their appearance is greatly improved but they still manage to shine through. That would be the dream!! Shop the Concealer MEDIUM, BUILDABLE COVERAGEĮxcuse me while I embarrass myself by showing the most pesky dark spots that annoy me immensely! In the above photos, you can see that the new Lancome Teint Idole All Over concealer does a nice job covering imperfections – but it isn’t full-coverage. Hopefully over time Lancome will expand the All Over concealer range to include a perfect match for each shade of the foundation. To help customers find their best shade, the Lancome team created a useful chart that maps out the best color match of concealer for the specific shades of the foundation. While decent, this is considerably less than the expansive 50 shades available in the Teint Idole foundation. The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over concealer is currently available in twenty shades with mixed cool, neutral and warm undertones. Let’s discuss Lancome’s new All Over concealer in more detail below, including before and actions of the product in action! Its heaviness makes it more appropriately used as a spot treatment, however, meaning I’ve always paired it with a lighter concealer for everyday use. Its full-coverage is essentially bullet-proof and makes blemishes and dark spots completely disappear. ![]() Lancome’s original Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage concealer has been around for years and is another staple in my makeup collection. So naturally, when news came that Lancome was expanding the Teint Idole line to include the an All Over concealer– I had to snatch one up on the day of its release. Lancome’s Teint Idole foundation is an absolute must-have in my makeup collection.Īt this point, I’ve entirely lost count of how many bottles I’ve gone through of the powerhouse, impossibly lightweight product that covers imperfections like a dream. I found the peach to be a little too light for my skin tone and the orange/red to come off more like a deep pink & a little ashy once blended out.The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer has arrived! Does it live up to the high expectations set by the iconic foundation? I don't color correct on a daily basis, just when I need it the most. As for the color correctors, I'm still a little iffy on the colors. For reference, I'm currently an NC40 (NC42 in the summer). I do like the lighter shade for highlighting & sometimes mix the two since I like to conceal with a more neutral tone under my eyes. 370 W matches my skin tone pretty well & is perfect for any blemishes. I picked up 310 C, 370 W, 415 W, peach cc & orange/red cc. There's a shade for those with neutral, warm and cool undertones. If you're skin type is oily, I would definitely recommend setting it.Īs far as shades go, there seems to be a good range of color for just about everyone. I personally liked wearing it with a setting powder. I think when they say, "natural-looking matte" they really mean, semi-matte. I wore the products with and without a setting powder, just to see how well the natural-looking matte finish held up. I definitely recommend prepping/priming any areas on your face prior to wearing this concealer. I did notice the concealer didn't sit as smoothly without my hydrating eye cream. I wore the products with and without an eye cream. When this happens I usually just take a q-tip and blend it out. I did find this to crease a bit where my skin folds right under the eye, but that tends to happen when I wear any type of makeup in that area. I would say in the 6 hours, it did not move or separate. Note - I did only wear the products for about 6 hours (max), each day so I can't speak for an all day (more than 6 hr) wear. I personally found all the claims to be true: ultra-pigmented, full-coverage, long-wearing & weightless. After I apply the product onto my skin I wait a few seconds and blend it out more with a damp beauty blender. If you don't like working with the back of your hand to warm up the product, I would recommend using a flat steel mixing palette. With that said, I definitely prefer using my fingers rather than a brush. This product works best when it is warmed up prior to application. The consistency is a bit thick and tacky, similar to the It Cosmetics bye bye under eye concealer. I have tried all 3 forms of application - concealer brush, beauty blender & fingers. With this formula, a little goes a long way. They recommend using a pea-size but honestly, I'd start off with about half a pea-size. It is no joke that "one drop" is all it takes. The concealer was mainly used under my eyes & I have to say it's coverage is quite amazing. I used the corrector under my eyes & some areas where I have some discoloration.
